HIGH CAPACITY VERTICAL POWDER COATING LINE
We have installed the most modern high capacity, vertical powder coating equipment on the market at our Auckland complex. The new plant is tailormade for the high-performance coating of aluminium profiles with optically controlled, multistage quality control management that ensures absolute precision by eliminating variations in the thickness of the powder layer.
XLAB PROGRAMME

THERMAL ZIPPING MACHINE
Extrusion zipping (strut and spacer technology) is used in thermally broken window systems. Aluminium profiles are joined using polyamide strips, positioned to maximise insulation properties. The strips are knurled and clamped between the interior and exterior aluminium elements and a machine is used to 'zip' the strips to the aluminium creating a single profile with the same strength and expansion properties as a traditional aluminium window frame ensuring long-term functionality and durability.
